About us
PGSOB Hockey club was founded in 1926.
We have long been held as one of the top social sides in the West, and regulary are voted the most hospitable Club to play. This tradition stems from our inclusive outlook and great team spirit across all sides, coupled with a great Clubhouse in the Artillery Arms, Stonehouse.
Our Training structure is expanding to develop hockey across all age groups and abilities to offer opportunities at numerous levels for all.
The club currently runs 5 men's hockey teams (4 Saturday League Teams)
- 1st XI - play in Prem 3
- 2nd XI -play in South 2
- 3rd XI - play in South West Divison 1
- 4th XI - play in South West District Division 1
- 5th XI - friendly based side - possibly entering Leagues next year
We also offer the following Youth sides;
- U21 - play in the Devon Cup
- U18 - play in the National Cup
- U16 - play in Devon Leagues
All teams play their home matches at Stonehouse Barracks.
