PGSOB 4XI (C) Vs Duchy B

"Our young team had a strong performance against a competitive well drilled Duchy side playing at their home pitch in Camborne. We suffered a poor start with inconsistent distribution and allowed the opposition to dominate the first half despite some great saves by Issac in goal. As the game went on our defence became more confident, lead by Dave Cobbold and Owain Acharya in centre back, and the faster play that we wanted from the sides came in the form of Toby Trickett from the right and faster distribution from our midfield. Scores were levelled by a short corner slip to Peter Munn who converted, but this was then followed up by another goal for Duchy bringing it to 2-1 by half time. 

The second half was by far our better half and we dominated the game with now many chances being generated by working off the ball and getting into space. In particular work by Joe and Sam Easterbrook, Seb Frost and Fish all helped to pile on pressure that lead to the equaliser by Jude, that was deflected past their keeper from the P spot. We should all be happy with what was a strong show of determination to get back into a game that was starting to slip away from us, a great 2nd half which we need to replicate at our games next weekend."
